TeleSCAN: The MRC Cancer Trials Office

The UK Medical Research Council (MRC) Cancer Trials Office (CTO) is the largest cancer trials office in the UK, and is active in all aspects of randomised clinical trials, meta-analysis and quality of life assessment. 39 trials are currently open to patient recruitment with 24% of patients being entered from 20 other countries. The CTO has many links with other trials offices in the UK and runs several collaborative studies with the EORTC.
